The Public Housing Waiting List is OPEN
Section 8 Waiting List
The Gastonia Housing Authority Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program will begin accepting applications daily on Monday, January 30, 2012 between the hours of 9AM and 4PM. Applications may be obtained at the Administrative Offices or online at www.ghanc.org. Applications may be submitted in person, by mail, or by e-mail. The waiting list will close at 4:00 PM on Thursday, February 2, 2012 and will not reopen until further notice.
- Beginning Monday, February 7, 2011 GHA will begin accepting applications for the NED (non-elderly, disabled) program. This program is for non-elderly, disabled individuals and families only (must be age 61 or below AND meet the federal definition of disabled to qualify)
- We are currently accepting applications for Dallas High School Senior Apartments (must be age 62 or older OR age 55 and older and in need of supportive services
to qualify)
- We are currently accepting applications for Gateway Village Senior Apartments (must be age 62 or older to qualify)
- We are currently accepting applications for Third Avenue Independent Living Center (must be developmentally disabled AND in need of supportive services
to qualify)
